This project was about securing a MongoDB and WordPress website which were not connected or implemented properly. The students went above and beyond the project and accomplished more than requested. They have developed a full functional website for Special Compass with a secured MongoDB database integrated with Splunk. They implemented RBAC, hashing for secure file upload, back logging files, periodical session ID management and integrated Splunk for security purposes. As cybersecurity students, they got the opportunity to build a secured system for the employer. We are grateful for the opportunity and the support that we got from them during the project.

Springboard | UI/UX Design Project

Problem Statement Special Compass aims to bridge the gap in educational accessibility and inclusivity for students with diverse learning needs. Currently, the tools and systems in place lack seamless integration, making it challenging to streamline operations such as lead generation, client management, payments, digital marketing, and feedback collection. This disjointed approach limits our capacity to effectively support educators, parents, and students. Criteria for Success Operational Efficiency : Implementing an integrated system that automates lead generation, CRM management, payments, and feedback processes within the WiX platform. User Experience : Ensuring the platform is intuitive and user-friendly for clients and internal staff. Impact Measurement : Establishing mechanisms to track and analyze engagement, feedback, and outcomes to continuously improve services. Alignment with Mission : Maintaining a focus on accessibility and inclusivity in all functionalities and interfaces. Project Goals At the end of the project, Special Compass expects: A fully functional, automated, and integrated system within WiX that supports the organization’s operational needs.
