Concordia University of Edmonton has played an important role in Alberta’s educational history since 1921. In 1987, Concordia University of Edmonton began awarding undergraduate degrees in the arts and sciences. Today, it offers over 45 majors and minors in the fields of Arts, Science, and Management, two after-degree programs, three masters degrees, and several graduate certificates and diplomas.

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Concordia University of Edmonton's Faculty of Management / Mihalcheon School of Management to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Learners in this program are poised to succeed in the integrated work areas of: accounting, cybersecurity, data management, energy management, finance, human resource management, leadership, and marketing (for example). Learner placements will only occur virtually.
IT Capstone Project

The IT Capstone project will involve design and testing of data analysis and application development tools. During this experience, students will have individual tasks and elements of team work integrated with real problems in the area of databases, visualization, front and back end development. Students will develop new skills in information technology and introduce new ideas that will be valuable in a professional network. The topics are related to conventional and renewable energy and environmental sustainability only.

Welcome to Concordia University of Edmonton's Magazine Editing and Production course—an immersive journey into the world of literary and scholarly magazines. At the heart of our program is the creation of the inaugural issue of The Magpie, the English department's undergraduate journal. Our students not only gain a deep understanding of the editorial process but also actively contribute to the production of a tangible and valuable literary piece. Learners in this program: Are experienced writers that possess strong editing & formatting skills Superior senior students with enhanced leadership skills and are capable of working independently with limited supervision.
