Welcome to Concordia University of Edmonton's (CUE) Applied Emphasis Psychology program! During the IT Internship work experience, students prepare to enter the professional world by learning about professional etiquette, networking, resumes and interviews, as well as expanding their horizons and networks through Industry Forums and interviews. In the work placement experience students develop new work skills, showcase their talents to employers, and generally increase their confidence. At the same time, students introduce new ideas and creativity into a workplace, meet new people, and become part of a professional network.The Internship typically takes place over the last semester of studies. By then, it is expected that students have the basic theoretical and technical knowledge, the initiative, and the understanding to enable them to contribute meaningfully to a ‘real-world’ information technology setting.Start date: August 15 or later; End date: December 3Compensation for internship experiences preferred; we also welcome unpaid opportunities

Welcome to Concordia University of Edmonton's Environmental Assessment course, where students dive deep into the principles of phase I and phase II environmental site assessments (ESAs), environmental audits (EA), and environmental impact assessments (EIA). Our comprehensive curriculum covers everything from contaminant remediation guidelines to legislation at both federal and provincial levels. With a focus on real-world applications and case studies, our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle complex environmental challenges.
