Concordia University of Edmonton has played an important role in Alberta’s educational history since 1921. In 1987, Concordia University of Edmonton began awarding undergraduate degrees in the arts and sciences. Today, it offers over 45 majors and minors in the fields of Arts, Science, and Management, two after-degree programs, three masters degrees, and several graduate certificates and diplomas.

Throughout its history, Concordia University of Edmonton has been committed to providing a higher education grounded in a liberal arts tradition. It is a globally aware and responsible university, and focuses on the needs of its learners and the community.

In the work placement experience students develop new work skills, showcase their talents to employers, and generally increase their confidence. At the same time, students introduce new ideas and creativity into a workplace, meet new people, and become part of a professional network.The Internship typically takes place over the last semester of studies.
