Social Media Analysis and Campaign: Esports Business Events and Lead Generation
We're looking for students to work directly with our Marketing Manager to help us analyze our current social media/website lead generation and marketing initiatives. Through this process, you'll learn how we perform marketing A/B tests and use data to test out and prove/disprove marketing hypotheses. We're also interested in having students work with us to create specific marketing campaigns for upcoming esports-business events we'll be hosting as well as increasing our general lead generation. Project Details Work directly with the Marketing Manager to go through our current social media initiatives and determine where we can improve and optimize our approach. Plan out other marketing strategies for general lead generation and a marketing campaign for event promotion. At least three new strategies need to be implemented for lead generation, two new lead generation strategies for the website, and at least one campaign was led by the student. Document your initiatives following the scientific method: what your hypothesis was about improving the company’s digital marketing, why you came to that hypothesis, what actions did you take to test your hypothesis, what was the qualified and quantified results, what observations can you make from the experience, what variables could have influenced the outcome, what questions are opened up from this finding, and what was the conclusion you derived from the initiative. Attending meetings to provide different ideas and feedback about our marketing and operations. If you're interested in esports, social media management, and experimenting with innovative ideas, this opportunity is perfect for you – although those interests aren’t required. What is required is a hunger to learn and grow through this venture. We're primarily looking for students who are enrolled in a Bachelor’s of Digital Marketing course or in alternative marketing equivalent program. If you have experience in marketing or data analytics and are up for the challenge, we'd also love to hear from you as well. Additional technical abilities such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design tools will be a benefactor to prospective applicants, but this is also not a requirement.
