My career, spanning over 25 years in Early Childhood Education, includes working directly with children ages birth to 12 years, supervising child care and managing family support services. These experiences brought me to teaching part time at Mohawk College in 2013 while still working in the field. I began teaching full time in 2016 and have taught many courses within the Early Childhood Education diploma program. I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I also hold a number of certificates that guide my teaching including Conscious Care and Support from the University of Toronto with a focus on mindfulness.
