Competitive Employee Onboarding Plan
One of the most important aspects of starting a position in a new company is the onboarding process. In addition to making us a more compelling firm to work with than our competition, we want our onboarding process to promote our company culture to accelerate the learning curve of working for us and increase our employee retention. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Discuss our onboarding practices with current employees to determine their effectiveness and where improvement is needed. Research our own as well as competitorsโ current onboarding practices. Research which onboarding practices are best at reaching employees and making a lasting impact. Create a report detailing all research findings and a new onboarding plan for our company. Reporting on cost estimates and allocating funds in the most efficient way.

Digital Marketing Strategy
At Sports After 6, we are not just a multimedia company; we are the storytellers of local athletic talent in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Our mission is to shine a spotlight on athletes, from recreational leagues to the professional stage, creating memorable experiences and meaningful opportunities. Our Mission: We are dedicated to celebrating and empowering athletes, regardless of gender or age. Our mission is to provide a personalized and comprehensive multimedia platform. We capture the essence of every game, every play, and every athlete, turning them into inspiring stories that resonate with our audience. We want students to help us develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. Weโd like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us. The main questions weโd like students to help us answer are the following: How should we promote our company? What social media channels should we utilize? What budget is appropriate for advertising? What messaging should we use?

Business Administration
The primary focus for the student will be: (Remove any that don't apply) Strategy - Develop an implementation plan for entering a new market; develop a go-to-market strategy; identify new funding and grant opportunities, write proposals. Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to supply chain processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes. Marketing - Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place, price, and promotion); Sales - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our sales team; design a new/improved pricing or service structure. Talent - Design a new/improved recruitment process; develop a diversity and inclusion strategy; design a new/improved employee engagement program.

Content Creator/Writer
The main goal of the Content Creation/Writer intern's project is to establish a strong content foundation that aligns with Sports After 6's mission and engages the target audience effectively. This involves: Content Quality: Creating high-quality and engaging content, including blog posts, articles, athlete profiles, and social media updates, that resonates with the audience. Content Strategy: Contributing to the development of a content strategy that aligns with the company's mission and goals, reflecting the importance of sports stories and athlete achievements. Content Promotion: Sharing content on various platforms, including social media, to promote it and engage the audience. Content Editing and Review: Ensuring content accuracy, clarity, and consistency through editing and proofreading. Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring content performance and providing insights to enhance future content efforts. The overarching goal is to build a robust content foundation that showcases the company's dedication to celebrating local athletes and their stories while also attracting and retaining an engaged audience. The final presentation serves as an opportunity for the intern to demonstrate their thorough understanding of the role's requirements and their contributions to achieving this goal.
