Security & Penetration Testing of Web Application

Our company has a website / technology product. A standard practice for web based tools is to conduct what is known as penetration tests. We would like a group of students to design and perform a pen test on our application, involving: Students become familiar with our product and understand generally how it works. Students should spend time conducting research on state of the art pen testing technologies. They should look into common vulnerability lists such as OWASP Top 10, and common security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suitar, Nessus, and Wireshark. Students are free to attack our product as per the presented plan. Students submit a final report of any findings.

Senior Wellness Arts Program

Our seniors facility is looking for new, interactive experiences that enrich and assist our residents. We would like to collaborate with students to implement an arts program series. Students will have access to key contacts in our organization for feedback on the program planning. Students should be prepared to: Research and apply information on art therapy for seniors. Develop an arts program series for a senior-aged population with varying abilities. Plan activities, with the assistance of our staff, which are inclusive of varying cognitive and physical abilities.

Awareness Contest Design

Our organization is passionate about promoting social causes. We ​​want to increase awareness about a particular topic. We would like to work with students to design an awareness contest where contestants promote our cause and win rewards along the way. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our organization’s goals and campaigns. Designing the contest structure and assessment criteria. Our research lab publishes dozens of papers every year to promote projects in our field of research. We would like students to find important data regarding NPO. We would like to collaborate with students in data entry. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our database structure.
