The goal of this project is to research and create a comprehensive database of all Indigenous organizations in Canada serving women across all sectors. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching and identifying Indigenous organizations in Canada serving women across all sectors. - Collecting and organizing data about each organization, such as contact information, mission statement, services provided, and any other relevant information. - Creating a database of the collected information. - Developing a user-friendly interface for the database.

The Shine Network Institute - Bursary Program application and intake process development
The goal of this project is to create comprehensive application materials and an efficient and user-friendly intake process for The Shine Network Institute's bursary program. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Designing and developing an application form that gathers essential information while ensuring simplicity and accessibility. - Creating clear and concise guidelines for applicants, providing a step-by-step overview of the application process. - Researching and proposing technologies or tools that can streamline the application intake process. - Collaborating with the IT and data management teams to integrate technology solutions and ensure a seamless process. - Developing and documenting standard operating procedures for receiving, reviewing, and processing applications. - Researching and recommending a transparent and objective process for reviewing and selecting candidates. - Identifying process for applicant notifications. - Providing constructive feedback to unsuccessful applicants and sharing details about the next steps for those who are selected. - Developing systems to track and evaluate the impact of the bursary program.

The goal of this project is to research and draft a culturally informed set of HR policies that is suitable for The Shine Network Institute (TSNI), an Indigenous not-for-profit organization providing professional development programs, advocacy, and mentorship, for Indigenous women in the film, television and media sector. The project should involve researching and understanding the needs of the Indigenous communities TSNI serves, and creating policies that are in line with the organization's mission to dismantle systemic and structural barriers Indigenous women face in the screen sector and create safer spaces for all Indigenous Peoples in the industry.
