Details

Long-term care homes, like many other healthcare organizations, are challenged with a shortage of healthcare workers that ultimately affects the quality of care delivered to residents.

We are aiming to better understand the challenges long-term care homes face on a daily basis and match our technology with those needs to:

  • Improve the quality of care and average time spent on patient care per clinician
  • Improve access to care for residents of long-term care homes
  • Improve workload for healthcare workers
Deliverables

Our CEO and CTO need your help to develop the right plan and strategy on how to best utilize our virtual care technology in long-term care homes. We need to better understand what the challenges are and how to optimize our technology to meet those specific needs, especially in rural areas. This would involve the students engaging with LTC homes and gathering information, and feedback, and identifying challenges from the perspective of:

  • Administrators
  • Healthcare workers
  • Community leaders (if possible)
Mentorship

Our CEO and CTO are available as required throughout the project to provide the answers, guidance and resources as needed.
