The project focuses on creating a regionally customized awareness and marketing campaign that integrates digital marketing strategies with local community engagement. The goal is to leverage digital platforms such as social media, email marketing, and online advertisements while simultaneously engaging with local communities through events, partnerships, and promotions. This project provides learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of marketing principles, digital tools, and community engagement strategies. The tasks are closely related and designed to be completed by a team of marketing students, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving the project's objectives within the 80-hour timeframe.
Project Description:
This project offers students an opportunity to lead StellaEats’ growth campaign in our Ontario pilot cities. You’ll design digital outreach strategies, explore local networks, and bring creative visibility through community-first campaigns (optional events, shop partnerships, or QR flyers).
Key Tasks & Scope:
- Build a 4–6 week Ontario-based growth plan
- Create and post campaign content (Reels, memes, vendor tags)
- Engage student groups, health orgs, foodie networks
- Activate campus bulletin boards or collaborate with local vendors
- Track regional conversion to our waitlist
Creativity Bonus Track: Local Awareness Activation
- Set up a StellaEats booth on campus or at a health event
- Distribute printed flyers with QR codes in shops or libraries
- Co-host a micro food discovery meetup or talk
- Submit visuals and written recap of the event
Final Deliverables:
- Sign-up conversion report (target: 500+ Ontario users)
- Campaign toolkit: posts, captions, distribution record
- Data on outreach results (clicks, posts, views)
- Reflection report
- (Optional) Community activation summary
