Details

The main goal of this project is to develop new feminine hygiene product(s) to create a solution that addresses the needs and preferences of women during their menstrual cycle. This solution should be effective, comfortable, and accessible, while also considering ethical and social considerations such as sustainability and inclusivity.

Deliverables
  1. Research: Students would need to conduct extensive research on existing feminine hygiene products, including their features, benefits, and drawbacks. They should also research the needs and preferences of their target audience, such as women of different ages, lifestyles, and cultural backgrounds.
  2. Idea generation: Based on their research, students should brainstorm ideas for a new feminine hygiene products that addresses a gap or opportunity in the market. They may consider different types of products, such as pads, tampons, menstrual cups, or period underwear, and explore innovative features, such as sustainable materials, comfort, ease of use, or customization.
  3. Design: Once they have a promising idea, students should design a prototype of their product, either physically or digitally. They should consider factors such as size, shape, color, texture, packaging, and branding.
  4. Refinement: Based on the feedback they receive, students should refine their product design.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with CEO, Lin Ferguson who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
