Marketing Communications Practicum (Second Session)

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Kwantlen Polytechnic University to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main marketing communications project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this online course learn the fundamentals of market segmentation, positioning and targeting while acquiring skills in the alignment of all aspects of an organization's communication, covering a complete range of target audiences, to create a coherent integrated communication program. They will manage the organization's brand identity and communication with consumers, media, governments, employees, shareholders and community groups. We are looking to partner with non-profit organizations only in BC, Canada.

Scoping reviews with a health-related research question. If an organization needs to have an literature review of academic literature synthesized to answer a specific health-related research question (e.g., effectivness of a medication, device, etc). Students would work with the organization to develop a proposal of a very targeted research question and then final report. Students will not be conducting primary research but rather will be doing secondary analysis of existing research.

Our students are 3rd and 4th year projects in our unique Physics for Modern Technology program. This is a 1 semester course where students work on individual projects in physics and technology (ideally with a focus on R&D). This year we are particularly looking focusing on projects involving computer modelling, simulation or data analysis . Students would generally work on their own consulting regularly with members of your team and having weekly project meetings we the rest of the class to discuss progress and brainstorm ideas.
