Create a dashboard type platform where users can track health through food intake values. You will work to finalize Front end and Back end of the beta iOS or Android app. We hope to be in a stage where we can have simplified user testing to flush out required components. The beta app is expected to have the following functions. Application Website Development - We are seeking to build and launch a new innovative product to represent a clean and intuitive website. We are open to suggestions and ultimately a stack of choice by development team.

Communications & Marketing

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (1 | 2 | 3) marketing students or teams. The primary focus for the student will be: Marketing Communications - Recommend changes to PR materials; create an integrated marketing campaign to bring awareness of our monthly seminars, webinars and help promote small businesses in our ecosystem Market Research - Investigate our competitive landscape; identify expansion opportunities; identify key messaging for to help us maintain a sustainable startup ecosystem presence Public Relations - Develop and implement a PR strategy; create collateral, including press releases, and impactful case studies. Strategic Social Media Marketing - Helping us grow our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s);to help expand our online presence and increase engagement by creating useable social media and blog posts. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Branding and Marketing Communications - For the student(s) to help us improve our brand's presence Public Relations - For the student(s) to help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience. SEO Strategy & Recommendations - For the student(s) to help us generate more traffic through search engines and alternate channels Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the student(s) to help us improve our online presence, reach a wider audience, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content. Other duties the student may complete could include : (indicate other duties as exemplified below) Assist with outbound email marketing campaigns as needed through creation of templates (MailChimp) Content design development, including social posts, blog posts or LinkedIn articles. Virtual Internship: IT

Main goal of project is help us create a working prototype to empower small business and startups leverage procurement opportunities. Startup Peel Community is Startup Canada community in the Region of Peel helping entrepreneurs at all stage of their business journey through mentorship, events, sponsorship and partnership support. We work with ecosystem partners to create solutions including social enterprise solutions to address the needs of the businesses who have fallen through the cracks. This solution is the result of aggregated info and feedback from community partners seeking to manage projects. Students should be prepared to: Conduct a needs analysis to determine best layout for SaaS Solution Create or work using Business Requirements think path Prototype functioning capabilities. We are open to discussing prototype stack and best user flow methodology.

LEVEL UP - Computer Science - Website Design and Development

Build our Community Website to engage and provide a place for entrepreneurs to find resources, access events and opportunities. You will work to finalize the site build where our Startups and Community users can use it to the potential to gain benefits to better manage their startup. Application Website Development - We are seeking to build and launch a new innovative product to represent a clean and intuitive website. We are open to suggestions and ultimately a stack of choice by development team. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Application Development to: 1. Provide a clean front-end user experience 2. Provide an area for visitors to learn about programs 3. Provide visibility for partners and startups 4. Create contact and event forms within the site 5. Blog articles and provide opportunities for ecosystem to submit content and News stories Other duties the student may complete could include : Provide or work with us to complete site design mock-ups, .
