Competency-Based Interview Guide Development
AutoVerify (Mobials Inc) aims to enhance its recruitment process by developing competency-based interview guides for all roles within the organization. The current challenge is the lack of standardized interview guides that align with the specific competencies required for each position which are identified in our competency library. This project seeks to address this gap by creating structured interview guides that ensure consistency and fairness in the hiring process. Learners will apply their understanding of human resources principles and organizational behaviour to identify key competencies for various roles. They will then design interview questions that effectively assess these competencies. The project will involve analyzing job descriptions, and researching best practices in competency-based interviewing. The goal is to create a comprehensive set of interview guides.
Automotive Competitive Analysis
Our company has been serving thousands of automotive dealers and consumers for years. We want to better understand how our target audience perceives our brand and competitors. This will help us develop clarity on our competitive advantages and optimize our product and marketing strategy. We would like to collaborate with students to conduct a competitive analysis of our products. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company, products, and target market. Identifying current and potential future competitors and their product(s). Creating a matrix identifying features that are similar and different between products. Summarizing our competitive advantages and disadvantages relative to the competition identified. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending how our company can differentiate itself through products / services and messaging.
