Programming Projects: Python and REST APIs

The main goal for this project is to create a date loader to synchronize inventory and pricing data from suppliers to an ecommerce store. We're looking for students with solid  experience in one or more of the following technology areas  to tackle technology projects on our list of priorities: Python Graph QL and/or REST API Integrations You bring solid technical experience and enthusiasm to code business solutions.  We'll help you  build your portfolio of coding accomplishments  to talk about in future interviews. . We have a pending list of programing projects that we want done and will match candidates to a subset of the following priority projects. FINAL DELIVERABLES The final deliverable will be a program that: executes daily to intake refreshed data from our suppliers does some price and costing calculations and validation on each product line loads the resulting data into our eCommerce store. The program should be documented with in-line comments for easy maintenance together with a one-page overview.. Work can be completed remotely and online brainstorming and update meetings can be done via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other preferred platforms. Timely meeting access and response to questions will be provided, including by text, or on-line communication tools. What tasks will students need to complete to achieve the project goal? Accounting for Small Business - Quickbooks Online - Level UP

What is the main goal for the project? We require a student to bring our online accounting records up to date. This project will give students excellent experience at financial accounting for a small business. This is an 80-hour placement. What tasks will students need to complete to achieve the project goal? Some Transaction Data Entry or update Set up of Recurring Transactions within Quickbooks to save future data entry Bank and Credit Card Processing Account Reconciliation Assist in preparing HST/GST and Provincial Tax Return Data Adjustments to bring books to trial balance for accountant How will you support students in completing the project? We will provide access to all documentation of all transactions and access to our online accounting platform What skills or technologies will help students to complete the project? We use Quickbooks Online. Student should have good understanding of accounting processes and be able to efficiently and correctly complete reconciliations.

Marketing - Influencer & Partnership Business Development -- Level UP

Project scope will be adapted to applicants' interests and aptitude. but can include one or more of: High Quality graphic home page, collection images and landing page focal points Website layout optimization and navigation Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Small website improvements (CSS/HTML/Liquid) Our mission is to help people enjoy their best life while experiencing the great outdoors - We have some ideas for creative, highly sharable content aligned to our mission and we're looking for students with experience and passion in video creation to help bring it to life. 6 Positions Available This project will involve creation of Blog Posts about Camping, Outdoor, Boating and/or Recreational Vehicles (RVs). You will be able to refer to your work in your resumes/portfolios, so you can build a great portfolio while doing this project. Our mission is to help people enjoy their best life while experiencing the great outdoors - We have some ideas for creative, highly sharable content aligned to our mission and we're looking for students with experience and passion in video creation to help bring it to life. Applicants with a strong interest in Camping and the Outdoors will really enjoy the subject matter. Marketing Internship (eCommerce Website SEO - Ubersuggest) Level UP

1) On-Boarding and Training - Gain familiarity with the context (company strategy and goals, competitive landscape, industry trends) and update the competitive analysis to reflect recent changes. 2) Behavioral Assessment – Interns will be given access to Werrv's management tools to analyze customer behavioral patterns and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates (CRO) and critique our advertisement campaign focus. Based on recommendations, interns will be given an opportunity to test hypothesize to improve results through A/B testing of content, preparing customer online surveys and other means. 3) SEO Improvement Plan - Review Werrv's existing SEO Improvement Plan for both Domain Authority and Page Authority which will be shared with Interns. Interns will be involved in executing SEO improvements, including content creation in the form of blog posts, buyers guides and SEO meta tags for Collections.

This project will involve creation of short form Video Content (typically 30 to 60 seconds each) suitable for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Our mission is to help people enjoy their best life while experiencing the great outdoors - We have some ideas for creative, highly sharable content aligned to our mission and we're looking for students with experience and passion in video creation to help bring it to life. Positions Available: 4 Students We're looking for students with solid experience in one or more of the following technology areas to tackle technology projects on our list of priorities: Python Visual Basic (VBA/Excel) Graph QL and/or REST API Integrations Microsoft Power Automate You bring solid technical experience and enthusiasm to code business solutions. We'll help you build your portfolio of coding accomplishments to talk about in future interviews. . We have a pending list of programing projects that we want done and will match candidates to a subset of the following priority projects. Individual Projects 1) A REST API integration between Shopify and our accounting system to create commercial invoices for international orders. 2) An update to our existing GraphQL API integration between WordPress and Shopify. 3) A REST API integration between WordPress and one of our commercial suppliers. 4) An API integration between our supply chain system and Shopify. 5) A Product information analyzer and parser in VBA/Excel. 6) Several Power Automate ( https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-ca/ ) routines to automate tacks like shipment tracking , order processing and other tasks. 7) A stand alone website and database to gather and display information about brand consolidation in the industry. Our website platform is Shopify and we will give you access to the website and other organizational assets to support this project.
