The main project goal is to facilitate the organization and accessibility of background material for documentary and book-related projects, particularly in logging film footage/photos, transcribing interviews, conducting marketing and PR research to further the productivity of the company. This requires detailed scrutiny, knowledge of excel spreadsheets, in-depth research skills, curiosity, adaptability to the needs of various projects, creativity and critical thinking, and the possibility of writing material for website promotion.

Tasks include:

• view film footage and log subjects/topics for each clip according to set parameters and key words
• transcribe audio clips with time codes and highlight strong/informative pieces
• research a variety of material related to funding, marketing and pr of specific book and documentary projects, including details of contacts, submission processes, audience targets
• create spreadsheets and documents of research material found
• potential of organizing and labelling filed and photos for easier accessibility
• potential of writing pr material for website and social media (Optional)-material highlighting projects and proposals for books related to documentaries

Students will complete as much from these tasks as can be completed within the 60 hours. Strong attention to detail in all aspects are required.
