NMBR values creative thinking. The goal is to create a cohesive collection of apparel designs that reflect the company's brand identity and can be prototyped for future production.


The goal of NMBR is to empower everyone in unleashing their creativity and develop unique apparel designs that reflect their personal artistic vision. To explore, innovate, and push boundaries in fashion design, contributing to a fresh, bold, and experimental product line.


No design experience necessary, students will be onboarding and educated on current software and building processes.


Tasks + Responsibilities:

Initial Briefing & Brand Immersion:

  • Attend onboarding sessions to understand the company’s brand vision, target market, and product portfolio.
  • Exposure to current technologies and walkthroughs.

Research and Ideation:

  • Conduct research on fashion trends and customer preferences, and similar brands in the space.
  • Generate and present initial design concepts for feedback.

Design Development:

  • Create detailed sketches and digital mockups of designs.
  • Develop fabric, color, and style recommendations for each design.
  • Experiment with new styles, textures, colours and forms

Prototyping & Feedback:

  • Coordinate with the team to create samples.
  • Participate in feedback sessions to iterate on designs.
  • Learn and understand how current products are made with what peculiar vision

Expected Opportunity:

  • Design and own a product that aligns with the brand vision and current market trends
  • Understanding clothing companies supply chain operations to need and match demands
  • Creative-oriented design and growth in creative thinking in the clothing space


Expected Outcomes and Deliverables:

Innovative Winter 2025 Tops Collection:

  • A cohesive collection of 1-2 unique design for tops (e.g., t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, and jackets) tailored for Winter 2025(FW2025).
  • Each design will prioritize warmth, functionality, and originality, reflecting the brand's emerging identity and appealing to the target audience.

Market Creativity

  • Designs informed by research into Winter 2025 fashion trends, ensuring a balance between creative freedom and market appeal.
  • Distinctive visual elements that set the brand apart while catering to the needs and preferences of the audience.

Design-ready Prototypes

  • Adobe illustrator file of detailed tech-pack of model. Model will include clothing product mockups that include measurement of sizes, variations in design, material type, stitching type
  • Designs will incorporate innovative materials and patterns suited for general winter wear, emphasizing clothing fit.

Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.

Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
