The main goal of this project is to plan, implement, manage, and upgrade a privacy and security disaster plan for Oncology Simplified.

The interns will have the opportunity to assess vulnerabilities, create SOPs to mitigate risks and train personal of safe practices.

This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:

• Analyzing the existing security measures of Oncology Simplified and create / offer suggestions for our security policy
• Analyzing networks and systems and assessing areas for improvement
• Researching other security measures that can be implemented
• Review the process for vulnerability testing and help develop any best proactive policies to keep up with the current cybersecurity landscape 
• Detecting and analyzing any incidents, review incident reporting, and create an incident response plan (if any)
• Education and awareness planning and educations

We are a small organization therefore interns will have the opportunity to work directly with leadership and other stakeholders within the organization to broaden their experience and network. We will offer a quick onboarding, resources and mentorship time to deliver a collaborative product.
