Positions available: 1-3 students working in a team

Our team is looking for creative thinkers who can help us expand our programs and marketing efforts Canada-wide. We are a medium-sized not-for-profit in NS but offer services Canada-wide. As a medium-size organization, we do not have a marketing department so this is where you would come in! We are looking for you to help us do market research as well as competitive scans to offer us advice on how we can improve our awareness. Some things that you could do for us would be:

  • Developing strategies for improving our online presence by recommending programs, tools, methods of engagement, social channels, or communication pieces.
  • Developing strategies for increasing engagement on our various public accounts, blogs, or other marketing assets.
  • Conducting an assessment of the effectiveness of our current communication channel(s).
  • Identifying best practices within our current market segment to achieve a larger market share.
  • Developing a 6-month rollout plan.
  • Creating example social media posts or directly manage your social media channels by scheduling and posting content and engaging with our users
  • Measuring and reporting the performance of our current digital marketing campaigns.

Our goal is to increase our market profile in areas where we offer services but are not well known.

This is a great project for students to prove their marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.
