The goal of this project is to research chatbot platform options, and develop, and implement a chatbot for The Shine Network Institute to enhance the user experience and provide support to learners.

This will involve researching different chatbot options, writing knowledge-based questions and answers, selecting, and implementing the best chatbot option.


Deliverables


  • Research Chatbot Platform options considering factors like integration capabilities, scalability, and pricing
  • Gather LMS data and content to write the knowledge base questions and answers
  • Design Conversational Flows - map out journeys and define how the chatbot will respond to various user queries and requests
  • Integrate with LMS - establish integration points between the chatbot and our LMS.
  • Develop and Train the Chatbot - develop the chatbot using the chosen platform. Train the chatbot with relevant data and content. Test to ensure it can handle various scenarios.
  • User Interface Integration - integrate the chatbot's user interface into the LMS.
  • Testing and QA - thoroughly test the chatbot in different scenarios to ensure it performs as expected. Conduct UAT with actual users to gather feedback and make improvements.
  • Analytics and Reporting - Implement analytics to track the chatbot's usage, user satisfaction, and effectiveness.


By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of different chatbot options and their features
  • Ability to write knowledge base questions and answers
  • Selection and implementation of the best chatbot option


Final deliverables should include:

  • A written report explaining the research process and outcomes
  • Conversational Flows
  • Written knowledge base questions and answers
  • Chatbot in action
