Our company develops energy and environmental programs and services. We are currently looking for assistance in developing our renewable energy program specifically focusing on smart building technology.

We believe this project will include research about, but not limited to:

• Market analysis on the current smart building tech landscape, including different companies and their product/service offering.
• Pros/Cons of found technologies
• Procurement process
• Business case development

• Research to add details to our list of known suppliers, and expand upon our existing list
• Contacting different manufacturers to get product specs and help determine the right equipment for projects as outlined in our project meeting
• Assist in the development of our business case, including customer pricing.
• Help turn research into actionable insights

Deliverables:

• Presentation of the findings, highlighting any findings of particular interest
• Documentation of findings, which may be delivered as a document and/or a spreadsheet (will be determined together as we work through the project specifics)

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our products and services
• Our current understanding of the market
• Specific research goals
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
