alternative investments web development usability user experience (ux) search engine optimizationGlobal Alternative Investments is seeking a team of learners to enhance their digital footprint by undertaking a series of web development projects. The primary objective is to rebuild a non-transactional financial website to improve user experience and modernize its design. The second task involves repairing another non-transactional financial site, focusing on resolving existing issues and optimizing its performance. The final task is to conceptualize and create a new transactional healthcare website. These projects provide an opportunity for students to apply their web development skills, including design, coding, and testing, in a real-world setting. The overarching goal is to deliver functional, aesthetically pleasing, and efficient websites that align with the company's objectives while ensuring security and user-friendliness.
The project deliverables include three fully functional websites: a rebuilt non-transactional financial site, a repaired non-transactional financial site, and a newly created transactional healthcare site. Each website must be thoroughly tested for usability, security, and performance. Additionally, comprehensive documentation detailing the development process, a user guide, and recommendations for future improvements should be provided. The project also includes assisting with SEO to enhance online visibility.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
