We need assistance building out an online peer support technology platform to replace our current, "email & spreadsheets" method of leading ADHD support, to allow us to scale, monetize, and grow the work we are doing. I'm open to this being either a website, or a website that just directs people to a mobile application where the mobile application is the primary method of integration.

This is a rapid prototyping / get stuff live / practice lean startup, agile, and MVP development and testing web project. Based on your skill set, we'll work together on what reasonable next steps in MVP development and testing should look like. I may have other students who are interested in marketing who you would be able to collaborate with on marketing verbiage/UI, etc.

Students should be prepared to:

• Update content on a wordpress website and integrate 3rd party existing solutions for membership management, course management and user interactions, peer support
• Integrate components from multiple sites and platforms
• Create detailed documentation on work performed and the structure that would enable an easy-hand-off to a future intern or other team members in the future
• Use any additional amazing UI/UX, and/or back-end development skills to assist in this project. For example, experience with APIs would be helpful, or in creating user-friendly front-ends.

I provide a high level of supervision and mentorship via text and live calls. Interns often work with me during "live" work sessions where I am available to share screens, give guidance, troubleshoot, review/etc. I have 20 years experience in business and marketing including prior experience as a programmer and in leading web development teams plus an MBA and PhD. I also provide career mentoring and strategic career planning guidance and support. For example, I helped one student who had changed his major but really didn't know what to do with the new one think through what his skills and interests were, how they would align with a job, review jobs and their criteria, and discuss the specific work he could do on my internship/project and how he could use that towards demonstrating what the jobs he was looking at trying to get hired for, would want to see.
