Details

STAR GIGS is a marketing platform for Performers, Bands, DJ's, Aerialists, Jugglers, photographers, and videographers to advertise themselves and get booked by their customers.

Customers who are hosting parties and wedding receptions, etc., come to the platform to book talent.

The UX/UI and all design have been completed. We have all functionalities laid out in Figma.

This platform is a marketing tool for Performers, Bands, DJ's, Aerialists, Jugglers, photographers, and videographers that includes information like locations and style of performances, reviews, and of course, a calendar for booking.

Deliverables

Students need to build platform in REACT on AWS EC2, serverless db/Lambda/Cognito and API's in AWS as our back-end. This may require two different teams working together.

LISTING SERVICE: Web app allows performers, etc. to create a profile, description, and upload pics to advertise their talents. They will update their calendar and pricing to get gigs.

BOOKING SERVICE: The web app should allow users to search the area they are visiting at the top of the page, enter keywords, and find potential talent to book. Messaging area is super important, as well as understanding that payment is made through the app.

Other functions are all spelled out in our documentation, and include showing locations on a map.
