Details

InPower is a truly independent network/social media app where members (women and those who identify as nonbinary) can interact with each other and professionals based on standard shared sets and a pledge to be supportive and kind to one another (by joining groups and communities through our application). Resources like short educational modules being required to be finished before joining groups (like conflict resolution skills, how to not be judgemental online, and terminology that is offensive to LBGQTIA+ community, etc) is the driving force of our app. We provide the foundations to prepare our members to join any group or community they want to join.

Now, we are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement. We are solving online bullying, trolling, privacy and security, and you will be helping the tens of thousands of lives we have already changed through our journey.

Deliverables
  • Research, plan, write, edit, and revise a persuasive proposal narrative; or
  • Understand programs and funding requirements of our organization
  • Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval that support our cause
  • Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

We would also like to mention that we will highlight our student(s) all over our social media platforms as a thank you for their work!
