Number of students required to work in team: 1 team of 2

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

As an industrial temperature sensor manufacturer and welding shop Aircom is looking to work with and educate its customers on the technical details of thermowells and sampling/injection quills used in harsh corrosive environments based on the NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 and MR0103/ISO 17945 requirements. We'd be looking for a overview of the standards as to how they apply to machined, welded, and treated thermowells and quills, how the standards are different from each other, and how the history of the standards has evolved with changes in requirements in recent updates.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write a technical codes/standards research paper (technical audience) and a whitepaper (non-technical audience), other content pieces on assigned topics
  • Assist with a social media posts to promote our organization
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story

Ultimately, you will be working on technical engineering content creation for our organization, including social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

A student or team with excellent technical engineering writing and social media skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.
