Number of individual students required: 2 students, any Province or Territory, Canada

1000 Towns of Canada digital platform was launched three years ago. We created about 100 unique pages of Canadian towns Top Places to Visit in Your Town.

We would like students to help us with writing stories for 1000 Towns blog Top 10 Art Towns, Top 5 Towns to test burger, Top towns to pick up strawberries, etc. The content is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector.

We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write/publish 4 stories in a month
  • Previously discuss topics with 1000 Towns team
  • Publish a link to the story on social media.

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization.

If you like the sound of our culture and enjoyment of travelling off-the-beaten-path and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

A student with excellent writing skills and an interest in local travelling would be the ideal candidate for this project.
