Details

The goal of this project is to provide leads and their contact information for the sales team to explore, contact leads and qualify them for the sales team to close them. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Analyzing trends in the market and identifying opportunities in the company’s business development and sales strategy.


- Researching potential clients/customers and creating prospect lists.


- Creating entries and providing updates in the company’s CRM system.


- Developing a sales playbook and other marketing materials to assist the team with sales calls.


- With training and supervision, participating in discovery calls and taking meeting notes.


- Researching industry events, conferences, associations and memberships that could provide new leads.


- Working with the marketing team to create materials to assist with sales demos and client/customer FAQs.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- An understanding of the company’s business development and sales strategy.


- An understanding of the company’s CRM system.


- An understanding of the company’s sales playbook and other marketing materials.


- The ability to participate in discovery calls and take meeting notes.


- An understanding of industry events, conferences, associations and memberships that could provide new leads.


- The ability to create materials to assist with sales demos and client/customer FAQs.



Final deliverables should include:


- A list of qualified leads and their contact information.


- A sales playbook and other marketing materials.


- An updated CRM system.


- Materials to assist with sales demos and client/customer FAQs.
