Faded Living is a herbal lifestyle offering in-person and virtual cooking classes, exclusive dinner parties, and outdoor "Faded Walks" in the Lower Mainland.


We are looking for a student (or a team of students) to help us develop a digital marketing strategy and create engaging content to promote our 2025 services. Our goal is to increase brand awareness and attract our target audience—affluent, diverse women aged 30-64—


Project Goals:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop a content and promotional strategy that aligns with our brand and resonates with our target audience.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality digital content for various channels (social media, website, email campaigns) that promotes our services and engages our audience.
  • SEO Strategy: Implement an SEO strategy that helps improve our online visibility, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and local SEO to attract relevant traffic to our website.
  • Campaign Ideas: Generate fresh ideas for virtual and in-person campaigns to promote Faded Retreats, Faded Cooking Classes, and Faded Walks.
  • Target Audience Engagement: Tailor content to reach women aged 30-64, a demographic that values wellness, creativity, and experiences. Content should speak to their interests in health, lifestyle, and cannabis culture.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure that all digital content reflects Faded Living’s brand values, tone, and aesthetic. The brand colorus include black (#000000), white (#FFFFFF), blue (#377f8f), light blue (#bcdee0). Olive (#808000) is used occasionally.


About Faded Living: Faded Living offers a unique blend of wellness, food, and cannabis culture. Our services include:

  • Faded Cooking Classes: Monthly infusion classes with Jamaican inspired recipes. Learn to cook delicious cannabis-infused dishes online.

Faded Kitchen: Intuitive Infused Cooking - Sunday January 26, 5:00 PM PST

Faded Remedies: Tinctures & Teas for Wellness - Sunday February 9, 5:00 PM PST

  • Faded Walks: Take part in guided cannabis-infused walks, connecting with nature while enjoying a relaxing experience (Lower Mainland, BC only - 19+, Intuitive readings are also offered during the walk for those who want to dive a little deeper.)
  • Faded Feasts: Private, intimate cannabis-infused dinner parties, offering an experience for those looking to elevate their social gatherings.

Target Audience:

  • Women aged 30-64, diverse and affluent, who enjoy wellness, cannabis culture, and unique culinary experiences.
  • These women value experiences that are creative, mindful, and empowering.

Brand Aesthetic:

  • Faded Living's aesthetic blends calm, luxury, and nature. The brand colors include olive, blue, and black, evoking both sophistication and serenity.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we would like the student to:

  1. Identify Areas for Improvement & Develop a Promotion Plan
  2. Analyze current marketing efforts and create a comprehensive plan to improve brand promotion and raise awareness for Faded Living and its offerings, including Faded WalksFaded Feasts, and Faded Cooking Classes.
  3. Create Digital Content for Promotional Materials
  4. Develop engaging digital content to promote our various services, which can be used across social media platforms and as marketing collateral. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Rack cards for hotel partnerships (Cooking Workshops/Dining Experiences)
  • Information cards
  • Social media content (Facebook & Instagram posts, reels, and stories) for all services, including Faded RetreatsFaded Cooking ClassesFaded Walks, and Faded Feasts.
  1. SEO Strategy & On-Page Optimization
  2. Conduct keyword research and develop an SEO strategy for Faded Living’s website and content. Optimize existing content (website, blog, event pages) to improve search engine rankings, focusing on key terms related to cannabis-infused experiences, cooking classes, and local tourism.
  3. Identify Media & Networking Opportunities
  4. Research and identify media outlets, influencers, and organizations in the tourism or cannabis tourism industries for potential cross-promotion, collaborations, and networking opportunities to build brand visibility and partnerships.
  5. Create Promotional "Teaser" Social Media Posts for All Services
  6. Develop teaser content for upcoming Faded RetreatsFaded WalksFaded Feasts, and Faded Cooking Classes. The goal is to generate excitement and engagement on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
  7. Create an Email Campaign to Promote Faded Retreats
  8. Develop an email marketing campaign specifically focused on promoting Faded Retreats, with compelling content, calls to action, and personalized messaging to attract bookings.
  9. Strategy for Growing Newsletter Database
  10. Develop a strategy to increase the Faded Living newsletter subscriber base. This strategy should consider the unique challenges of the cannabis industry on social media and suggest creative ways to attract and retain subscribers.

Note: The cannabis industry faces barriers on social media platforms, so creative, compliant, and strategic content creation is essential.
