Details

Indigenous Student Achievement Pathways (ISAP) shares opportunities, information, and community event notifications with a diverse audience of student, parent, and communtiy stakeholders. The visual appeal of our communications is critical. We are seeking a motivated student to create LCD slides and Social Media images to support ISAP communications over the 2023-24 academic year.

Deliverables

The student or team selected will be asked to meet with the ISAP staff team to review a list of requested images for communications over the 2023-24 academic year. They will be provided a file containing stock images, photographs, and visual elements for use in completing this project. While a student may make use of graphic design software if they choose, in the interests of maximum compatibility with LCD screens and campus computers (and to ensure future editing capacity for adaptation and reuse) we ask that these visual elements be created in Power Point files with slide size adapted to common dimensions for desktop, wide screen, and cubic (instagram) display. Creativity, confidence, and visual design are skills that we hope to attract to this project.

Mentorship

We will offer staff time, source visual elements, and regular opportunities for feedback. We have a desktop computer that can be made available for work on this project at the USask Saskatoon Campus (Arts 250) during regular working hours (8:30-4:30).
