Details

We produce the FLY BROTHER RADIO SHOW, a podcast and interview series about travel and culture. We have a backlog of 46 Instagram Live interviews at our FLY BROTHER Instagram account that we would like to turn into podcast format.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Reformatting our collection of 46 Instagram Live interviews from portrait to landscape format for YouTube.
  • Scheduling weekly uploads of the video podcasts to the FLY BROTHER YouTube channel, with thumbnail images, descriptions, and tags.
  • Editing the audio to include intros/outros, and scheduling weekly uploads of the audio podcasts to the Anchor podcasting platform.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):

  • Reformatting our collection of 46 Instagram Live interviews from portrait to landscape format for YouTube.
  • Scheduling weekly uploads of the video podcasts to the FLY BROTHER YouTube channel, with thumbnail images, descriptions, and tags.
  • Editing the audio to include intros/outros, and scheduling weekly uploads of the audio podcasts to the Anchor podcasting platform.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • How to best write podcast episode descriptions and obtain images?
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
