Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 3+ marketing students or teams.

B2B and B2C Projects. We currently have two tracks for marketing and each requires a different strategies. The project can either be completed by a group, or the different parts will be split into multiple projects. Intern(s) primary focus will be on our online mindful speed reading platform, MindFlow, They will support with:

INTERN 1: Branding - Conduct a full competitive landscape assessment; define MindFlow's brand and core value proposition; identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors.

  • Marketing Communications - Create/tweak current advertising and PR materials; create an integrated marketing campaign; create/anticipate branding campaign for different markets the product serves (B2B - email campaign and LinkedIn) (tutoring/test prep companies, tutors, education organizations, allied professionals, etc..)
  • Market Research - Investigate competitive landscape; perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target markets for MindFlow product segmentations (professionals, parents, students); conduct surveys and/or focus groups to gain insights into the perceptions and behaviors of our target customers; develop a pricing strategy; identify expansion opportunities; identify key messaging.

INTERN 2: Public Relations - Develop and implement a PR strategy; create collateral, including press releases, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories.

  • Prospecting Strategy - Implement better prospecting that increases conversion rates and boosts our sales team's performance. Evaluate our current customer base and make recommendations for further market penetration; assess our current outreach process and develop and implement targeted prospecting; review our prospect messaging, make improvement recommendations, and create new outreach content.
  • SEO Strategy & Recommendations - Develop and implement an SEO strategy; provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility; increase our inbound traffic and optimize the customer journey; increase inbound leads. Optimize online presence ie. YouTube

INTERN 3: Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct audit of our competitors' social media and communication; develop and implement our strategies for online presence to increase engagement; create a content calendar; creating useable social media and blog posts (working with designers.)

Additional interns can work on the above or other processes which can be discussed with the principals.

Our goal at the end of this experience is to help us:

  • Market Research - Gain a better understanding of target markets and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing aligns with our sectors/customers.
  • Public Relations - Communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience including various venues online: social media (FB, LinkedIn, IG), media outlets, guest blogs, articles, youTube, podcasts, etc.
  • Prospecting Strategy - Implement better prospecting to increase conversion rates and boost our sales.
  • SEO Strategy & Recommendations - Generate more traffic and revenue through search engines; Use of analytics to tweak process.
  • Strategic Social Media Marketing - Improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content.

Other duties the student may complete could include:

Assist with outbound marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on performance of these campaigns using Asana, Google Sheets, Excel, activecampaign.com

Ongoing data analysis with users through email communication.

Content development, including social and blog posts, LinkedIn articles, and website copy.
Brainstorming more product development/new material for users.
