This MBA Capstone experience is designed for students nearing the completion of their MBA program, equipped with skills in business development, marketing research, digital marketing, innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation. Learners are prepared to apply their comprehensive knowledge to real-world projects, offering fresh perspectives and innovative solutions. This experience allows students to collaborate with industry professionals to tackle strategic business challenges, providing valuable insights and actionable strategies. Each student will be assigned to a single project for a 10 week duration, completing with a final presentation to the client. Two students may be assigned if there are two specific projects for a client.

By collaborating with our MBA students on the Strategic Consultancy Capstone Course project, clients can expect a comprehensive analysis of their business challenges, innovative solutions, and actionable recommendations tailored to their specific needs. Our students bring diverse expertise and fresh perspectives, enriched by their academic knowledge and real-world experience as professional management consultants.

These students come from various countries with several years work experience in different fields. From architecture and engineering to hotel and hospitality management, finance and insurance, international marketing and trade and HR. The projects will be completed mid-April through end of June, 2025

Students will work with a small business (client) throughout the term (10-week term starting on April 14th) and will do the following: 1. Organizational diagnosis 2. Project proposal 3. Revised proposal 4. Final project report and presentation How companies will benefit: This course (BUSI 660) is a capstone project/exit course for the UCW MBA students - meaning, the small business will get to work with the final term MBA students. Students already had diverse academic and professional experiences before joining the MBA program. Now, they are just one step (term) away from earning an MBA degree. It will be a great opportunity for the small business to work with the MBA students who will actively engage with and contribute to the small business from diagnosis of the problems/challenges to writing a proposal to executing a final project report and presentation. Similarly, students will also get valuable first-hand and real-world experiences by working with the small business.
