The main benefit of this project is that students gained substantial experience in software development, which aligns with their existing skill set. However, the project primarily focused on software development tasks and did not provide significant hands-on experience in cybersecurity practices. Nonetheless, students were able to add valuable Canadian work experience to their resumes, which is beneficial for their career growth.
