Project Examples
Requirements
Student teams will be tasked with developing the best possible solution to meet your particular project related needs. Project examples include, but are not limited to:
- Solar photo-voltaic and battery energy storage system design for fish habitat conservatory
- Converting household electronic devices to use 48VDC instead of 120VAC
- Apartment building solar wall energy performance audit and monitoring system design
- Troubleshooting wind turbine controls and assessing energy demand for recreational facility
- Institutional lighting retrofit audit
- LED efficacy testing using smart DC power controller vs standard AC power
- Electric vehicle motor driver design and testing
