Project Examples

Requirements

Student teams will be tasked with developing the best possible solution to meet your particular project related needs. Project examples include, but are not limited to:

  1. Solar photo-voltaic and battery energy storage system design for fish habitat conservatory
  2. Converting household electronic devices to use 48VDC instead of 120VAC
  3. Apartment building solar wall energy performance audit and monitoring system design
  4. Troubleshooting wind turbine controls and assessing energy demand for recreational facility
  5. Institutional lighting retrofit audit
  6. LED efficacy testing using smart DC power controller vs standard AC power
  7. Electric vehicle motor driver design and testing
