Are you unsure of how to proceed with managing change in your organization? These student groups can provide a structure and framework to launch and maintain the change. For this change to be successful, you will need to provide documents regarding the vision, values and mission of your organization. If you are looking for a framework and structure to manage change within your organization, then this group of learners can create a plan to organize your planning and implementation.

Project Examples

Requirements

Based on the information you provide, students will develop a strategic plan, which can include framework and structure to manage the change within your organization. Student teams will address the aspect(s) that are most critical to your organization today, and provide innovative solutions to help you overcome these challenges. Examples of projects could include: conversion of OH&S process from paper to digital format and alignment of reward package to the nature of the business.
Project deliverables include but are not limited to:

  • Summarize the change and explain why the change is required in the organization.
  • Provide a Gantt chart with the key stages in the change process.
  • Identify the type of power that will leverage the change and suggest ways to lower the resistance.
  • Assess the readiness of the organization for the change; which will include three different levels.
  • Propose how to implement the change.
  • Recommend the sponsor and change agents in the organization who can influence the change.
  • Suggest a communications plan which will include identifying who should be communicating, how they should communicate and timing of the communication

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions. Company contact will attend two hybrid meetings during the class - Monday or Wednesday, 11:00 - 12:30 - we will decide on the timing closer to the date.

Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Attend the top two presentations on April 6 - 11:00 - 12:30 - again we will select the timing closer to the date.
