Requirements

Based on a current, relevant, and timely social issues that you identify, student-writers in groups of 4 - 5 will research and create content for your organization to use or distribute. The content may be created for a general audience and purpose, or as a pitch for a specific audience or media outlet.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Economy
  • Employment
  • Environment
  • Local Events
  • Tourism

Example mediums include, but are not limited to:

  • Reports and proposals
  • A digital infographic
  • A script for a 45 to 120-second audio or video story
