Details

Fleming College’s Marketing Management Program is designed to give learners an edge in one of the fastest growing industries. Learners receive advanced training in a number of complex functions within the marketing field, including applying principles of business and financial analysis, using synthesizing and evaluation skills to support a variety of management functions, and developing management skills for cutting edge marketing techniques.


Based on your organizational goals, student teams will develop a marketing campaign along with its promotion, pricing and distribution plans to support the marketing activities of your organization.

Deliverables

Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization. 


Some final project deliverables might include: 

  1. A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
  2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations


Project Examples

Learners in groups of 3-4 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.


Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Establishing communications objectives, plans and budgets
  • Completing a marketing strategy review
  • Developing a market plan for businesses
  • Creating a rebranding campaign for an existing product
  • Monitoring, evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of a promotional program
  • Creating an integrated marketing campaign for a new product or service
  • Analyzing the competitive landscape for promotion planning
  • Creating a social media or new media campaign to complement existing marketing communications
  • Establishing communications objectives, plans and budgets
Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.

Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly drop-ins to address learners’ questions as well as periodic messages over the duration of the project.

Provide an opportunity for learners to present their work and receive feedback.

Provide relevant information and/or data as needed for the project.
