researchOur research lab publishes dozens of papers every year to promote projects in our field of research. Among these papers are studies detailing our lab’s findings from analyzing databases.
We would like to collaborate with students in data entry.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Familiarizing themselves with our database structure.
- Transferring data into our databases efficiently.
- Verifying the accuracy of the data in our databases and making relevant updates.
- Organizing and retrieving data as requested.
Bonus steps in the process would also include:
- Providing assistance in creating new databases.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Familiarity with our databases
- Efficient data transfer
- Verification of data accuracy
- Organization and retrieval of data
Bonus steps would include:
- Assisting in creating new databases
Final deliverables should include
- A 10-minute presentation.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Our research projects and databases
- Current understanding of our field of research
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
