Are you passionate about dogs and have a knack for web development? If so, we’d love for you to help us build our inaugural website!

Here at Vet24, our mission is to improve the well-being of pets through innovative technology. As we are in the early stages, we aim to establish an online presence that can attract pet owners and engage them through a newsletter sign-up.

Why Students? We believe in nurturing talent and are excited about collaborating with students who can bring fresh ideas to the table. We are particularly interested in building the website on WordPress to ensure it's user-friendly and easy to maintain.

Your Role Would Involve:

1. Collaborating closely with our team to build the website, while we provide essential content.
2. Creating some of the web content yourself. (Don't worry, you can leverage ChatGPT for assistance!)
3. Training our team on how to update and maintain the website upon project completion.

For this first phase, we will concentrate on creating the content of the webpage. Second phase will be to build the website.

Tasks will consist of:

Planning and Research

1. Requirement Gathering: Consult with the team to understand the objectives and functionality required for the website.
2. Competitive Analysis: Study competitor websites for inspiration and to identify best practices.

Content Creation

1. Content Development: Write and collaborate on writing website copy, including product descriptions, the problem Vetly is trying to solve, etc.
2. Visual Elements: Collect and create visual assets such as logo, typography, images, icons, video and other branding elements.

Integration and Analytics

1. Social Media Integration: Add links or feeds from social media accounts.
2. Newsletter Signup: Implement a newsletter signup form (We're using Hubspot).

3. Technical Guidance: We will be available for regular check-ins to assist with any technical issues that may arise during development.
4. Software Licenses: Any software licenses required for the project will be provided by us, including WordPress themes, plugins, or other tools.
5. Feedback Loop: Regular meetings will be scheduled to review progress, provide constructive feedback, and make necessary adjustments to the project timeline. We will provide input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
6. Network Opportunities: Successful completion of the project could lead to further involvement in Vetly's endeavors. We're a pretty cool team!
7. Letter of Recommendation: Upon successful completion, we will provide a strong letter of recommendation and act as a reference for future career opportunities.
