Details

This project provides a number of bespoke project options designed specifically for Bay Path University students in collaboration with CanAge. They are intended to meet the accelerated term structure used by Bay Path University. Students may choose from a myriad of pre-discussed topics in the areas of:

  • identifying barriers to access and/ or improving healthcare equities in Canada or internationally
  • exploring various models of care and/ or disease conditions and their physical, mental and social impacts
  • various topics in public health, including vaccines, social determinants of health, physical activity and nutrition
  • understanding the role of the UN, WHO and OECD, and other key players on their efforts to advance health globally
  • various discussions on lifespan and longevity that may also intersect with other areas of concern including financial security, social isolation (loneliness) and community engagement
Deliverables
  • Students will provided with guidance and direction for resources and source material from which to conduct their research.
  • Both virtual and built environments, people and processes should be considered as a part of a student's research
  • Most of the research that will be conducted during the term will be secondary research, and will require mainly online research to complete these projects
  • Students can be proud that their work in these areas will be used to lead efforts to create positive and lasting change!

Mentorship

We are only too happy to provide:

  • A briefing document along with a facilitated overview of the important themes and needs for the project
  • Any key messages, target audiences and available creative assets to help them understand the brand
  • A single point of contact (POC) assigned to your course and students, with a team of experts available for questions
  • Access to Slack, Google Workspace, and some other project management tools. We welcome the students so they can feel as though they are part of the team, or at arm's length - whatever is best.
  • *For those running courses outside of Canada*, we'll provide guidance and direction for the students to better understand the Canadian business (and geographical) landscape, along with openly available sources of data that could be useful in making their assessments.
  • Recognition of the school's involvement and the students' work in a media release (if permitted) and attribution of the students' contributions via LinkedIn or references as required.
