The project involves organizing and conducting virtual & in-person focus groups on two topics:
- one targeting parents concerned about school bullying and racism,
- the other focuses on HR professionals dealing with workplace inclusion.
The goal is to gather valuable insights that will inform the development of improv-based workshops designed to promote inclusivity.
Learners will design effective focus group sessions, facilitate meaningful discussions, and synthesize the gathered insights.
This project provides a practical opportunity for students to enhance their skills in qualitative research, group facilitation, and content creation for social media marketing.
Oveall project deliverables include help in the strategy to create, promote the events and gather results and insights after the focus groups happened.
Step 1: Create a comprehensive focus group plans detailing session objectives, discussion topics, and facilitation strategies.
Step 2 : Promote the focus groups on social media, and engag with enthusistic participants.
Step3 : If possible help in the facilitation of the focus groups (only for online ones)
Step 4: provide a synthesized report of the findings, highlighting key insights and recommendations for program development.
Additionally, they will create short video clips or quotes from the focus groups, suitable for use in promoting the inclusive improv-based workshops on social media platforms.
These deliverables will collectively support Griottes Polyglottes Scty's mission to build more inclusive communities.
