Overall Info:

Welcome to the Connexions Program at the Telfer School of Management! As an esteemed institution dedicated to fostering real-world learning experiences, we are thrilled to invite business owners like you to collaborate with our students. Through our program, students are provided with the opportunity to engage in experiential learning projects that bridge classroom theory with practical application, benefiting both students and industry partners alike.

Steps for Matching:

Step 1: Match Request Submission

Business owners submit a match request outlining their project needs. The professor will then engage in a discussion with the employer to ensure the project's suitability via a video call.

Step 2: Pre-Approval

If both parties agree on the match, they will confirm the collaboration on the Riipen platform. It's important to note that projects are only pre-approved at this stage.

Step 3: Students Choosing

The pre-approved projects will be made available for students to choose from based on their interests and skill sets. Students work individually and have the autonomy to select projects they wish to collaborate on.

Step 4: Collaboration Starts

Communication among all stakeholders—educators, employers, and learners—will occur on the Riipen platform, ensuring transparency and efficient project management.

Ideal Partner:

The ideal partner for our Connexions Program is a business owner who values innovative thinking, collaboration, and mentorship. They should be committed to providing students with meaningful learning opportunities aligned with their academic and career goals.
